9U-13U Travel Ball

2026 REGISTRATION Now Open!

Our 9U-13U travel ball program has been our bread and butter for years.  Since 2022, MRBC has formed travel teams in those age divisions.

It is for 9-13 year-olds from Bismarck (and the surrounding areas) and  delivers a full-time, year-round baseball development program. Powered by Get Right Training and guided by our proven coaching team, our program blends elite training with competitive opportunities across the upper Midwest (ND, MN, SD, MT).

Why Join MRBC?

  • Year-Round Training: Access to training programs at Get Right Training led by experienced coaches Dylan and Tyler Thomas—designed to elevate every aspect of the game.

  • Competitive Play: Players participate in 5–7 summer tournaments, with events both locally and around the upper Midwest.

  • Individual Focus & Skill Development: From pitching and swing mechanics to defensive strategies and mental toughness, our tailored training addresses each athlete’s needs.  Every player will have their own development plan.

  • Flexible Schedules:  Each team determines which tournaments they will attend out of town.  MRBC hosts two "travel" tournaments each May that give our teams the travel competition and feel without having to travel at all.

  • Team Continuity:  Teams typically play between 25 and 40 games each season of highly competitive baseball.  What makes this special for so many families is that typically each team carries forward to the next year.  Players and their families get a chance to form long-lasting friendships with each other as the players move up year to year.

  • Playing Time & Position Learning:  Coaches are instructed to give all players equal playing time, play all players at every position (except catcher), and hit everyone up and down the batting orders.  We believe it's important for the teams moving forward if everyone can pitch and everyone can play every position.  

  • Flexible Participation:

    • Players may train at the MRBC's Missouri River Baseball Academy but still compete for another club or organization during the summer.

    • Dual rostering is allowed, but all players must treat MRBC as their top priority.

    • Already have a team? You’re welcome to bring your group into the Academy and compete together.

    • No residency requirements. You can be from anywhere.

  • Financial Flexibility: Player registration fees can be offset by raising sponsorships. Reach out to us if you’re interested in this option.

Evaluations & Team Placement

9–13U Players: Evaluations for placement happen in January or February for players not already assigned to a Missouri River Baseball Club team. There is no cap on the number of 9–13U Academy teams.

  4. Receive confirmation and details about evaluations, training schedules & tournaments.

What to Expect Next

  • Training Schedules Released Soon: Fall, winter, and spring training sessions to be announced.

  • Personalized Development Plans: Get Right Training coaches will assess and outline each player’s growth path.

  • Flexibility for Families: Train with us year-round while still playing elsewhere if you choose. Dual rostering is permitted, but Academy commitments come first.

  • Evaluations & Team Placements:

    • January–February for all 9–13U players not yet placed on a team.
